Blood deficient or xue xu is a term used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Syndromes: weak body with pale complexion, pale lips, pale nails, dizziness, palpitation, Insomnia, numbness in limbs, pale tongue, thin and weak pulse, hypomenorrhea with pale color blood.

Conditions of blood deficient are usually accompanied with qixu (qi deficient).

Name of Formula: si wu tang :

Composition: tang gui, shu di, bai shao, chuan xiong

Adjustment:
If qixu (qi deficient) condition also exists: add dang shen, huang qi, gan cao, shan yao
