Upper abdominal pain with deranged HIDA scan

Health Description
Health Consultation Description: I had a HIDA scan 7 yrs ago and it said I had an ejection fraction of 20 this past monday they did it again because I have been nauseous for along time now and pain/discomfort in my upper right abdomen which goes around to my right to my back. Anyway this time they had me get up in the middle of it before the second shot and use the bathroom and walk around because as the lady said nothing was moving. They didn t have me do this the first time. This latest HIDA scan was 78 ejection fraction. So my gallbladder wasnt working well before and now its fine? Is this even possible? Is getting up during this procedure the right thing to do? Or did they do the test wrong?

Condition analysis:
Even if your HIDA scan is fine as in your cases, there still may be gallbladder disorder that causes your symptoms. I think that you should do CT scan to evaluate it more accurately.

This may be caused by stone in bile duct, common bile duct or liver and it is very common condition. You need to change your dietary habits first. Need to avoid fried food, carbonated drinks, coffee, alcohol and spicy food. You should eat more milk products, vegetables and boiled food.

If there is no improvement on lifestyle or dietary changes, then surgery is recommended. Other causes include pancreatitis or pleuordinia and should be considered if gallbldder stones are ruled out by CT scan.

Instructions:
Mixture of Different Oils: Applying a mixture of clove oil (2 drops), peppermint oil (3 drops), and vegetable oil (1 teaspoon) around the affected area is also beneficial in cases of abdominal pain. Another home based treatment is the application of angelica oil (2 drops), almond oil (1 teaspoon) and peppermint oil (3 drops) in the form of a mixture around the affected area.  Another option is to prepare a mixture of 2 drops coriander oil, 3 drops eucalyptus oil, 1 drop fennel oil and1 teaspoon almond oil and apply it at regular intervals over the belly button. Also, you may use a mixture of 3 drops coriander oil, 2 drops marjoram and 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil to get rid of abdominal pain. You have to apply this mixture around the affected area.
