Can severed nerve in the foot lead to facial paralysis?

Health Description
Health Consultation Description: I had a basil cell carcinoma removed from the planter on my left foot 2 weeks ago. I developed Bell's Palsy the following day and my foot is still in excruciating pain. I also have severe shooting pain behind my right ear and in the back of my head near the mastoid bone.

Is it possible that the surgeon severed the planter nerve and could that have precipitated the onset of the Bell's Palsy? I find it very peculiar that this happened not even 24 hours after the procedure.

Condition analysis:
You could have had a latent viral infection of the Facial nerve nucleus, such as by the varicella zoster virus that could have then been activated either by the trauma of the surgery or any medications given afterwards. There is no connection whatsoever between the Plantar Nerves and the Facial Nerve.

Instructions:
Ginger: Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties which are decreasing the symptoms caused by Bell’s palsy. You can find ginger as supplement or you can add it in your diet when you are cooking some meals. Cod liver oil: This Bell’s Palsy Home Remedy is rich with omega-3 fatty acids Col liver oil also has anti-oxidant properties which are relieving you from the symptoms caused by Bell’s palsy. You should take one teaspoon cold liver once per day to improve your health condition.
