[Location] Localized in the erect sitting position or in the upward recumbent position, with the palm upwards, in the middle of the transverse crease of the wrist, between the tendons of m. palmaris longus and m. flexor carpi radialis. (Fig. 6)
 
[Regional Anatomy] Skin→subcutaneous tissue→between the tendons of the radial flexor muscle of the wrist and the long palmar muscle→between the tendons of the flexor pollicis longus and flexor digitorum superficialis, flexor digitorum profundus→the front of the radiocarpal foint. Superficial layer, the medial and lateral branchial cutaneous nerve, the palmar branches of the median nerve, and the palmar venous network of the wrist; deep layer, the median nerve can be punctured at the deep aspect between the Palmaris longus and the flexor carpi radialis.
