[Location] Localized in the prone  position or in the erect sitting position with the elbows resting on a table, above the heel, on achilles tendon. ( Fig. 110 )
 
[Regional Anatomy] Skin→subcutaneous tissue→achilles tendon→calcaneal bone. The distribution of the  subordiantial ramus of small saphenous vein, rami calcanei laterales nervi suralis and the calcaneal branches of peroneal artery and vein.
