The acupoint is located on the medial border of the foot, anterior and inferior to the first metatarsal base, and in the depression distal and inferior to the base of the first metatarsal bone, at the junction of the red and white skin and about 1 cun posterior to Taibai (SP 3). (See Fig. 38)
Indications:
Irritable bowel syndrome, Abdominal distension, diarrhea, dysentery, edema, acute and chronic stomachache, vomiting, dysphoria and insomnia.
