Usually, people happen to know they suffer the disease during the physic examination or do other imageological examinations. Some patients feel nothing in the early stage, but for some very big renal cysts, in particular, those intracystic hemorrhage or suffer infections will make patients feel back painful or abdominal painful. And some renal cysts press ureter or calyx neck coincidently, the patients will suffer hydronephrosis and secondary infections, then the back pains, fevers and urinary infections appear. Symptoms of Renal cyst according to the theory in TCM include:

1. Pattern of Qi Stagnation due to Cold-Damp
Main symptoms: abdominal mass, edema of lower limbs, hydrops in abdomen and chest, poor appetite, fatigue.

2. Pattern of Qi and Blood Stasis
Main symptoms: short of breath, palpitation, soreness of waist, urgent and frequent urination, Difficult defecation, petechia on the tongue.

3. Pattern of Qi Stasis due to Heat
Main symptoms: severe pain in the abdomen, abdominal distension, nausea, aversion to cold, stress, fatigue, morbid leucorrh.
