INGREDIENTS
Pork heart, 1
Radix Codonopsis (Dangshen), 15g
Radix Astragali (Huangqi) root, 15g
Bark of Chinese cassia tree, Cortex Cinnamomi, 6g
Cinnamon twig, Ramulus Cinnamomi, 6g
Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui) root, 12g
Tangerine peel, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, 9g
Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao), 9g
Green Chinese onion, Allium Fistulosum (right amount)
Fresh ginger, Rhizoma Zingiberis Recen 8, (right amount)
Table salt (right amount)

PROCESS:  First wash the pork heart clean and slice it up, put the slices in an earthenware pot, and pour in a right amount of water; then put in all the other ingredients; stew them over slow fire, and when the pork heart is well-done, discard the dregs.
DIRECTIONS: The pork heart is to be eaten and the soup to be drunk. It is applicable to those who suffer from chronic Hypotension (Low Blood Pressure) manifested as deficiency of both qi and yang.
