Acupoints of the foot Yangming stomach meridian:
Jiexi (ST 41)
Location: At the junction of the leg and dorsum of foot, in a depression at the midpoint of the ankle joint and between the tendons of the long extensor muscle of big toe and long extensor muscle of other toes.
Indications: Headache, Vertigo, psychosis, abdominal distension, Constipation, and paralysis of lower limb.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1.6-3.3 cm.
   
Chongyang (ST42)
Location: On the dome of foot arch with the dorsal artery pulse of foot and between the tendons of long extensor muscle of big toe and long extensor muscle of other toes.
Indications: Deviation of mouth and eye, facial swelling, toothache, psychosis, Epilepsy, stomachache and weakness of foot.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1-1.6 cm and away from the artery.
   
Xiangu (ST43)
Location: On the dorsum of foot and in a depression anterior to the junction of 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones.
Indications: Edema of face and body, redness, swelling and pain of eyes, abdominal pain with gurgling sound, febrile diseases, and swelling and pain of dorsum of foot.
Application: The needle is vertically or obliquely inserted for 1.6-3.3 cm.
   
Neiting (ST44)
Location: On the dorsum of foot, between the 2nd and 3rd toes and on the dorsoplantar boundary of the web fold.
Indications: Toothache, sore throat, deviation of mouth, Nasal Bleeding, Stomachache, regurgitation of sour fluid, abdominal distension, diarrhea, dysentery, Constipation, febrile diseases, and swelling and pain of dorsum of foot.
Application: The needle is vertically or obliquely inserted for 1.6-2.6 cm.
   
Lidui (ST 45)
Location: This is 0.3 cm from the lateral comer of nail of 2nd toe.
Indications: Nasal Bleeding, toothache, sore throat, abdominal distension, febrile diseases, dreaminess and psychosis.
Application: The needle is shallowly inserted for 0.3 cm.
   

Acupoints of the foot Taiyang urinary bladder meridian: 
Kunlun (BL60)
Location: Behind the lateral malleolus and in a depression between the tip of lateral malleolus and Achilles tendon.
Indications: Headache, stiff neck, vertigo, nasal bleeding, Epilepsy, difficult labor, pain of lumbar and sacral region, and swelling and pain of heel.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1.6-2.6 cm.
   
Pucan (BL61)
Location: On the lateral side of foot, behind and below lateral malleolus, directly below Kunlun and on the dorsoplantar boundary lateral to heel.
Indications: Paralysis of lower limb, heel pain, Epilepsy.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1-1.6 cm.
   
Shenmai (BL62)               
Location: On the lateral side of foot and in a depression directly below the lateral malleolus.
Indications: Headache, vertigo, psychosis, soreness and pain of waist and leg, eye redness and pain, Insomnia.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1-1.6 cm.

Jinmen (BL63)
Location: On the lateral side of foot, directly below the anterior border of lateral malleolus and on the lower border of cuboid bone.
Indications: Headache, Epilepsy, convulsions in children, Lumbago, paralysis of lower limb, and pain of lateral malleolus.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1-1.6 cm.
   
Jinggu (BL64)
Location: On the lateral side of foot, below the tuberosity of 5th metatarsal bone and on the dorsoplantar boundary.
Indications: Headache, stiff neck, milky eye, epilepsy, and lumbago.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1-1.6 cm.

Shugu (BL65)
Location: On the lateral side of foot, behind the 5th metatarsophalangeal joint and on the dorsoplantar boundary.
Indications: Headache, stiff neck, vertigo, psychosis, and pain in waist and leg.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1-1.6 cm.
   
Zutonggu (BL66)
Location: On the lateral side of foot, anterior to the 5th metatarsophalangeal joint and on the dorsoplantar boundary.
Indications: Headache, stiff neck, vertigo, nasal bleeding, and psychosis.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 0.6-1 cm.
   
Zhiyin
Location: On the distal segment of little toe and 0.3 cm from the lateral corner of nail.
Indications: Headache, eye pain, nasal obstruction, nasal bleeding, abnormal fetal position, and difficult labor.
Application: The needle is shallowly inserted for 0.3 cm and moxibustion is applied for abnormal fetal position.
    

Acupoints of foot Shaoyang gallbladder meridian:
Qiuxu (GB40)
Location: Below and anterior to the lateral malleolus and in a depression lateral to the tendon of long extensor muscle of toes.
Indications: Distension and pain in chest and flank, paralysis of lower limb, and malaria.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1.6-2.6 cm.
   
Zulinqi (GB41)
Location: On the lateral side of dorsum of foot, behind the 4th metatarsophalangeal joint and in a depression lateral to the tendon of extensor muscle of little toe.
Indications: Redness, swelling and pain of eye, pain in flank and costal region, irregular menstruation, incontinence of urine, mastitis, tuberculosis of cervical lymph nodes, malaria, and instep pain.
Application: The needle is vertically inserted for 1-1.6 cm.
   
Diwuhui (GB 42)
Location: On the lateral side of dorsum of foot, behind the 4th metatarsophylangeal joint, between the 4th and 5th metatarsal bones and on the medial border of tendon of extensor muscle of little toe.
Indications: Headache, red eyes, Tinnitus, pain in flank, mastitis, hemoptysis due to internal injury and swelling and pain of dorsum.
