    Stone Inscription of Official Notice Banning Early Marriage

    Intaglio Carving in a large cliff called "Padded Waist Rock", Shidawan, Gaoshikan Village, Lingyunzhai, Shuangpan District, Yilong County, Sichuan Province. 165×80cm. There are three columns in regular script. Investigators decipher the 11 eroded characters in the first column as "Instructions from the Censorate for the attention of civilians and soldiers. " The end indicates that the inscription was cut by the Baoning Sub-circuit of the northern Sichuan Circuit in late 1581 or early 1582.
