    During Guangxu reign,there was a controversy between Zhang Zhongyuan,Commissioner of the Imperial Academy of Medicine,and Li Chongguang,an Imperial physician,on whether courses on Western medicine should be added to t he curriculum of the medical sch001.They submitted reports to the Emperor for his final decision.This is one of them.(Collection of Imperial Palace Museum)
