Acupoints Selected: Danzhong (CV17), the upper and lower parts of Zhongwan (CV12), peri-umbilicus, Tianshu (ST25), Guanyuan (CV4), Shenshu (BL23), Sanyinjiao (SP6), Fenglong (ST 40), Zusanli (ST 36).
The Sequence: Scrape the Shenshu (BL23) on the back first, then scrape Danzhong (CV17) on the chest, scrape the upper and lower parts of Zhongwan (CV12), peri-umbilicus, Tianshu (ST25), Guanyuan (CV4) on the abdomen, scrape Sanyinjiao (SP6) in the inner side of lowe limbs, finally scrape from Zusanli (ST 36) to Fenglong (ST 40).
Method: Reinforcing and reducing method in combination. Apply right amount of Guasha oil on the selected parts, firstly apply guasha manipulation from up to the bottom to Shenshu (BL23) on the back until the skin turn red, and a local purple spot occurs, then apply guasha manipulation the midline of the upper and lower parts of Zhongwan (CV12) and Guanyuan (CV4) on the abdomen without pause until the skin turn red, and a local purple spot occurs, apply guasha manipulation gently on the peri-umbilicus and Tianshu (ST25) on the abdomen for 30 times until a local purple spot occurs, finally apply heavy guasha manipulation from Zusanli (ST 36) to Fenglong (ST 40) in the outer sides of lower limbs by the corner of the scraper for 30 times.
