Bladder meridian diverges from two branches at neck. Median branch descends between vertebrae and medial side of shoulder and passes sacral bone to lower limb, its embranchment goes to Hiatus of sacrum at upper border of sacral bone. Lateral branch descends from margo vertabralis of scapula to fundament then to lower limb.

Crossing meridians and collaterals of bladder meridian of foot-taiyang:
Bladder meridian crosses governor vessel at Fengmen acupoint, crosses small intestine meridian, triple energizer meridian, gallbladder meridian and governor vessel at Dashu acupoint, crosses gallbladder meridian sinew at Shangliao acupoint, crosses small intestine meridian and bladder meridian at Fufen acupoint, crosses gallbladder meridian at Huantiao acupoint.
