Distribution lines of lung meridian of hand taiyin, Zhongfu

Lung meridian runs outward from Zhongfu (LU1) acupoint and curves around shoulder then descends to anterior aspect of armpit; it descends along radial side of upper limb and passes elbow joint, wrist joint and radial side of thumb to radial side of finger tip, there is a branch behind wrist which passes radial side of palm of hand then along radial side of index finger to tip of index finger.

Crossing meridians and collaterals of lung meridian of hand-taiyin:
Lung meridian crosses spleen meridian at Zhongfu acupoint, crosses large intestine meridian at Lieque acupoint which is at lateral side of radius and connects with large intestine meridian at Shangyang acupoint.

Origination acupoints of lung meridian of hand-taiyin:
Zhongfu, Yunmen, Tianfu, Xiabai, Chize (LU5), Kongzui, Lieque, Jingqu, Taiyuan, Yuji, Shaoshang (LU11).

Distribution lines of collateral of lung meridian of hand-taiyin:
Collateral of lung meridian diverges from Lieque acupoint which is behind wrist, one branch crosses large meridian, another branch runs downward and is distributes over thenar which is at radial side of palmar surface.
