Gallbladder meridian of foot shaoyang starts from exterior angle of eye and ascends to forehead triangle then turns backward and descends to anterior aspect of ear, curves around and diverges from posterior side of ear then enters into ear. Coming out of anterior side of ear and going to lateral aspect of external canthus, it runs from canthus to Daying acupoint. Branch runs obliquely upward and passes anterior aspect of zygomatic bone to lower side of eye, its main line runs from Daying acupoint to angle of mandible and descends from neck to collarbone. Forking one branch from posterior side of ear, it goes along side of head to forehead then to temporal region and connects with front line of ear at forehead triangle.
