[Location] With the arm raised on the level of the shoulder, if patient has difficulties in movement of the shoulder and arm, he can keep arms holddown unforced. When the arm is abducted 900 laterally or forward, the point is on m. dehoideus of the shoulder, in the depression of the anterior superior portion of the shoulder. (Fig.15)
 
[Regional Anatomy] Skin→subcutaneous tissue→dehoid→→the tendon of supraspinatus. Superficial layer, the distribution of the lateral supraclavicular nerve, the posterior antebrachial cutaneous nerve; deep layer, the posterior circumflex humeral artery and vein, and the branches of axillary nerve.
