1) Get 250g of fresh salix leaf and it can be extracted to get its juice for oral administration.

2) Get 10g of chrysanthemum, sophora flower and shepherdspurse inflorescence respectively and infuse them in boiled water for drinking.
 
3) Squeeze the apple to get 100ml of juice for one time and take it three times a day.

5) Soak the peanut(with the peel) in the vinegar for one week and chew 10 peanuts before sleeping every night. 

6)Soak a fresh egg in 150ml of vinegar of 9 degree for 48 hours and then stir it up. Soak it for another day and take it. To be taken 20ml for each time and add the warm boiledwater when taking it. It will be finished in about 7 days.

7)Get moderate of sugar, vinegar and garlic and take 1-2 garlic seasoned with sugar and vinegar and drink this juice of sugar and vinegar with an empty stomach every morning. It is helpful to decrease the blood pressure for a long time and it is also very effective for the intractable cough due to asthma, tracheitis and chronic bronchitis.

8) Get 100g of celery, five onion fragments (natural fragments), five heads of garlic, 5 chufas (with the peel) and a tomato. Cook the above ingredients in 4 bowls of water with low fire to get one bowl of decoction and take it in one time before sleeping. It with instant effect for treating the high blood pressure and the root of garlic is helpful to reduce the cholesterin and the blood pressure.

Dietetic Chinese Drugs
1) Fructus Crataegi (Shanzha) The drug has the function of bringing down blood pressure and is to be taken 9 to 15g per day. It is applicable to patients with essential hypertension or that accompanied with hyperlipemia and coronary heart disease.

2) Chrysanthemum flower (Flos Chrysanthemi)  It can bring down blood pressure and can be taken as a drink for a long time, 6 to 12g per day. This drug is applicable to essential hypertension marked by the types of flaming-up of liver-fire or of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency.

3) Celery (Apium)  It contains apin which functions in bringing down blood pressure. Cut up 250g of fresh celery and extract its juice, which is to be taken twice a day. Or decoct not for long 30 to 60g of fresh celery for oral administration. This drug is applicable to essential hypertension manifested as the type of flaming-up of liver-fire or hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency.

4) Onion (Bulbus Allii cepae)  Having the function of promoting digestion, onion can prevent and treat hypertension. It can be either pounded to get its juice for drinking or eaten sauteed.

5) Garlic (Bulbus Allii) Garlic contains allin that can bring down blood pressure and is to be eaten raw, stewed, or cooked in gruel. It can be decocted, or pounded and made into boluses or pills for oral administration.

6) Carrot (Radix Dauci Carotae) It can be eaten raw or cooked, or be decocted, or extracted to get its juice for oral administration.

7) Shepherd’s purse (Herba Gapsellae) Fresh shepherd’s purse is to be extracted to get its juice, or decocted, for oral administration. It can be eaten stir-fried, too. It is applicable to essential hypertension marked by the type of flaming-up of liver-fire.  The common dosage is 30 to 60g each time.
