The following diet therapies are applicable to the local pain on chest, waist, four limbs, joints and so on caused by striking and squeezing. They have the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, promoting Qi and relieving pain.
a. Stewed pork with Tuniuxi(achyranthes aspera): Tuniuxi (achyranthes aspera) 100g, lean meat 200g, crystal sugar 50g. put amount of water and decoct Tuniuxi(achyranthes aspera) for 30 minutes, take 500ml Tuniuxi (achyranthes aspera) soup after filtering. Then stew the lean meat and soup together, until the meat is thoroughly cooked, then put crystal sugar into the soup until it is melted. To be eaten with rice or bread. This diet therapy has the function of nursing the kidney and strengthening waist. It is applicable for traumatic injury and lumbar muscle degeneration.
b. Powder of radix curcumae and hematoxylon: Sumu(hematoxylon) 100g, Radix Curcumae (Yujin) 100g, certain amount of honey. Clean, wash and Sumu(hematoxylon) and Radix Curcumae (Yujin), then chop them into piece and grind into fine powder, mix together and bottle them together. Twice a day, 10g each time, eat it with a small spoon of honey (about 15ml) with warm boiled water.
c. Honey decoction of peach seed and Flos Carthami (Honghua): Flos Carthami (Honghua)10g, Semen Persicae (Taoren) 15g, honey 20ml. First clean and wash Flos Carthami (Honghua) and Taoren( peach seed) , then put them into pot together, add certain amount of water boil for 20minutes with medium fire, then take the decoction after filtering with clean etamine, put into honey and mix together, drink it in two times, in the morning and at night.
d. Compound safflower tea: Honghua(safflower) 3g, Yuejihua( China rose) 3g, Lingxiaohua(Chinese trumpet creeper) 3g. Clean the flowers, put them into a big cup, then put in boiling water, lid the cup for 15 minutes. Drink it repeatedly as tea, the materials usually can be steeped for three to five times.
e. Stewed snake with Radix Notoginseng (Sanqi): Radix Notoginseng (Sanqi)15g, Wushaoshe(zaocys dhumnade)250g. First clean and wash Sanqi, grind into fine powder. Cut Wushaoshe into 3cm long section, then put into hot plant oil pot, stir-fry before stewing with strong fire, put seasoning, fry evenly, then put into pot, add certain amount of soup and water, stew until the snake is thoroughly cooked, put Sanqimo in it, add soy sauce, salt, MSG and five spice powder and mix evenly, stew until the snake is soft enough, pour sesame oil, then can eat with rice or bread and no limitation of amount.
f. Honey decoction of Qiegen( the root of eggplant): Ziqiegen( the root of purple eggplant) 500g, honey 30g. Clean and chop Ziqiegen, then put into pot and add water to decoct for twice, 40minutes each time,put the decoction of twice together and filter, take strong decoction and pour into pot again for decocting again with soft fire until the decoction is left about 300ml, add honey and mix them evenly. Take it in two times, in the morning and at night.
g. Decoct steak with Taoren( peach seed): Taoren (peach seed) 20g, beef sirloin 250g, egg 1 piece, a certain amount of flour. Wash and air dry the beef sirloin, add seasoning, then mix flour, egg white and beef sirloin together. Heat plant oil until 80% cooked, then put the steak piece by piece, fry them until they become golden, then cut into long sticks. Put into pot and add Taoren (peach seed) and cook for about 30 minutes with medium fire, then thicken the steak with wet starch flour, then lay the steak into plate evenly and pour sesame oil. Eat together with rice or bread without limitation of amount.
