The meridian sinew of lung meridian originates from thumb, which is run upward and end  at wrist joint of radialis palmar surface behind thenar eminence (the main belonging muscles: short muscle of t stretching humb, opponens, short flexor muscle of thumb, muscle and tendons). From radialis wrist joint along radialis forearm run upward and end  at wrist joint of radialis palmar surface ( the main belonging muscles: brachioradialis, long muscle of radialis stretching wrist, long flexor muscle of thumb, quadrate pronator muscle). From wrist joint run upward to armpit along inside lateral flexion acromioclavicular joint biceps muscle of arm, brachialis muscle). From armpit run upward and distribute on the Quepen point (the main belonging muscles: major pectoral muscle). From Quepen run outward and end at above anterior aspect of acromioclavicular joint (the main belonging muscles: elevator muscle of shoulder, trapezius muscle, trigonal muscle). From Quepen run downward to chest (the main belonging muscles: intercostal muscle). Scatter at transverse abdominal muscle (the main belonging muscles: disphragmatic muscle), crosses below transverse abdominal, reach to hypochondrium (the main belonging muscles: inferior part intercostal muscle and some obliquus internus abdominis).

Manifestations of disease of lung meridian sinew: after wind, dampness, cold evil invade this meridian along distribution area of meridian sinew cause myalgia and pain of shoulder that could not left arm. If abundance of QI, it would cause courbature neck. If stagnation of meridian-QI, it would cause spasm of thumb. If insufficiency of qi, it would cause muscular atrophy.

Season disease of meridian sinew: November of lunar calendar is middle winter time, taiyin meridians lead QI of this season, The Lung Meridian  of Hand-Taiyin are easy cause meridian-Qi running unsmooth and block or cause throe of muscle spasm which along meridian area. When the pain are serious, it will develop respiration disease,spasm between rib cause contracture of chest and hypochondrium leading to vomit blood. Note: meridian sinew of lung meridian, whose branch distribute the anterior part of shoulder joint, ending with interior and exterior meridian and intestine meridian at meridian sinew of the anterior part of shoulder joint. This is branch meridian which belong the distribution area of lung meridian.
