Gallbladder meridian sinew starts from the fourth and the fifth toe and runs backward to dorsum of foot then ends at ankle joint (subordination muscles: short extensor muscle of toes); ascends from ankle joint along lateral side of tibia (subordination muscles: long extensor muscle of toes, short peroneal muscle and long peroneal muscle). There is one branch at knee joint, it runs obliquely to Futu acupoint which is before thigh (subordination muscles: peroneal muscle), its main branch ascends from lateral side of thigh to hip joint (subordination muscles: vastus lateralis and intracrureus). There is one branch before hip joint, it runs obliquely to pars sacralis (subordination muscles: gluteus maximus), main branch ascends from hip joint and passes abdomen and chest then ascends to anterior aspect of armpit and is distributed over breast of chest, runs obliquely again and ends at supraclaveicular fossa (subordination muscles: oblique externus abdominis muscle, serratus muscle and major pectoral muscle).

There is one branch before armpit; it ascends from anterior aspect of armpit to supraclaveicular fossa and crosses the anterior branch then ascends from supraclaveicular fossa and along anterior side of bladder meridian sinew, it passes posterior side of ear and curves around frontal angle then intersects at corona capitis (subordination muscles: anterior aspect of trapezius muscle, clavicle of sternocleidomastoideus muscle, auricularis posterior, auricularis superior and tempotal muscle). There is one branch at forehead, it descends from anterior side of ear to jaws and turns to anterior aspect of cheek bone then ends at nasal side (subordination muscles: anterior parts of tempotal muscle, anterior auricular muscle, jugomaxillary muscle, angular head of quadratus labii superioris muscle and nasal muscle). There is branch below nasal side, it runs obliquely and ends at lateral angle of eye (subordination muscles: orbicularis muscle).

Manifestation of disease of gallbladder meridian sinew:
After pathogenic factors of wind, dampness and cold, muscles of distribution areas of meridian sinew will be pain. Muscles will be pain when stagnation of meridian-QI; foot will be cold and muscles of lateral side of lower limb will be muscle atrophy or limp.

Manifestation of season disease of meridian sinew:
Lunar calendar is the first month of spring and the climate is lunar calendar. Gallbladder meridian is easy stagnation or obstruction of meridian-QI and appears muscle spasm of distribution areas of gallbladder meridian, spasm of muscle of little toe, spasm of ham, so knee can not straighten, spasm drafts to anterior aspect of thigh and pars sacralis and spreads upward then appears muscle spasm of chest and galact and neck such as right side will be paralysis when left side is spasm. Treatment: prick quickly on pressure pain point by fire needle until to become effective.
