Nutrient qi originates from middle energizer of spleen and stomach and enters into lung meridian then runs into lung and large intestine; it passes from lung meridian to hand and runs into large intestine meridian at index finger and collateral then ascends from large intestine meridian to lateral side of nasal bone and runs into stomach meridian and stomach. Descending from stomach meridian to feet, it runs into spleen meridian and spleen at hallux and collateral then ascends from spleen meridian to heart and runs into heart meridian. Descending from heart it runs into small intestine meridian and small intestine at little finger and collateral then ascends from small intestine to interior angle of eyes and runs into bladder meridian and bladder. Descending from bladder meridian it runs into kidney meridian and kidney at little toe and collateral then ascends from kidney meridian to heart and pericardium and runs into pericardium meridian.

Descending from pericardium meridian to ring finger it runs into triple energizer meridian and triple energizer then ascends from triple energizer meridian to exterior angle of eyes and ears and runs into gallbladder meridian and gallbladder. Descending from gallbladder meridian it runs into liver meridian and liver at lateral side of great toe and collateral then ascends from liver meridian and runs into lung meridian and lung. Ascending from lung meridian along throat it comes out of nose and runs into governor vessel and brain then descends from governor vessel and runs into conception vessel and genital organ at perineal region. Ascending from conception vessel to anterior aspect of manubrium of sternum it enters into chest and runs into lung, it is one circulation. This is circulation route of nutrient qi in meridians and collaterals, it circulates 50 circuits every die nocteque and its circulation speed is 2-4 centimeters per second. 

 Nutrient qi passes five viscera and six bowels, brain, genital organ during circulation and its main function is transporting and dispensing necessary energy of viscera and bowels, coordination function of viscera, viscera transporting nutrient qi to organs, muscles and skin which main meridian distribute over.
