Lymphedema treatment, natural remedies for lymphedema

Condition analysis:
In our facility, circumferential measurements are taken every 4 centimeters on the affected and non-affected extremities. From these measurements a volume is determined. These volume measurements show how much larger the lymphedema limb is compared to the normal limb. Measurements are taken before treatment begins and at least once weekly to determine progress. A change in volume is our prognosticator.

Instructions:
1. Turmeric:
Turmeric has powerful antibiotic, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It removes all the harmful free radicals from the body and gives a tremendous boost to the immune system.It also helps in drying out the accumulated fluid and reduces the swelling and pain. You should take one teaspoon of turmeric powder with milk every morning and at night before going to bed.

2. Flaxseed
Flax seeds have great anti-inflammatory properties which reduce the swelling within no time. They are also rich in omega 3 fatty acids which are superb antioxidants and which detoxify the body by removing all the harmful substances from it.They also help the immune system to function properly and enable the body to ward off infections. Eat two tablespoons of flax seeds with your cereal everyday.
