Some people seem prone to this rash recurring after treatment. One option is to apply a shampoo such as Nizoral or Selenium sulphide (available from your doctor or pharmacy) to your skin every 2-4 weeks. This may keep it away, or prevent the numbers building up, which will prevent the rash from recurring. Alternatively, if you have frequent recurrences then you may be advised to take antifungal tablets for one to three days each month as a preventative measure.
